This is an introductory course for those wishing to learn about grant writing in smaller and/or grassroots nonprofits. The focus will be on grants for community, corporate and family foundations. We’ll explore all phases of the process including research, strategy, proposals, support for grant, storytelling, supportive documentation, budgets, legal documentation and site visits. Students will choose a nonprofit, either real or hypothetical, and create a draft grant proposal. (No Waivers)
