Create an heirloom while learning how to knit several types of cables! This Celtic baby blanket contains a reverse horizontal rib border that surrounds a cable section, which in turn frames a central cabled heart motif! Students will need to bring a #7–32” long (or longer) circular knitting needle and 605 yards of worsted weight yarn, all in one light color. If you want a larger blanket, the pattern can be adjusted, but you will need approximately double the yarn. Dark colors take away from the patterns. Yarn should be washable—so consider super wash wool, cotton, or acrylic. If you have done cable before, you will love this! This course is for intermediate knitters.
